Today fusion energy is an achievable goal
ITER DG Osama Motojima responds to a skeptical public

"50 years have been necessary to develop plasma physics and fusion research...We have done our best, and we only need to maintain our effort for a much shorter period [of time] to ensure that the goal is achieved. The dream is alive! Now fusion energy is an achievable goal!" (IAEA Geneva, Oct 2008)
Five years later the public opinion about the prospects for fusion energy is still skeptical in Europe. That is why ENERGLOBE asked Osama Motojima, DG of the ITER-Project, how he responds to this skeptical attitude today.
